#A256FB. Circa 1960. Italy. This handsome etagere was hand made by a skilled craftsman in Italy around 60 years ago. The placement of the drawer at the top is very useful as well as unusual. The turned legs of old growth mahogany give real beauty to the piece. Lovely patina with a hand-rubbed French polish. Drawer has a working lock with key. Etageres such as this are perfect for that spot in any room where nothing else works, especially in narrow spaces. Great for housing items such as books and electronics, or displaying a collection of small objects. Very good condition. Slight warp in the top shelf.
