"Coming Home" by Salomon Leonardus Verveer

Salomon Leonardus Verveer (1813-1876) was a Dutch marinist and landscape painter. He was one of the most versatile and successful artists during the Dutch romance period, both at home and abroad. The frame appears to be original to the painting and is gold leaf and gilt on gesso on wood. Condition: Condition: excellent - minor wear and minor losses to frame.
