Oil on Canvas "Mother and Son"

#8919PP. Circa 1805. Probably Baltimore. A beautiful portrait of a very well-to-do lady reading to her son. The lace and ruffles are especially finely painted, as are the details of the chair. Frame appears to be original. Minor old and new repairs - relined and some old inpainting - recently cleaned and conserved by us. 42.25" tall x 34.25" wide. $2,600.00.
