#8040FP. Circa 1950. France or Italy. Painted and gilded wood with marble top. This coffee table is typical of the updated traditional that was popular right after World War II and produced by Jansen and its peers. A very "smart" look and a good size. Very good condition - we have repaired and tightened the frame - the marble is in excellent condition - there is some paint loss on the frame, especially on the legs, which is part of the wonderful patina.
