This stunning secretary desk is made of mahogany and flame mahogany veneer with French oak secondary wood and gilt brass (ormolu) fittings, gold embossed leather desk top, and marble top. There is a long drawer at the top, 6 drawers in the desk section, and 3 drawers behind doors below the desk. This Secretaire Abatant was cleverly designed to provide a great deal of storage and a usable desk surface in a beautiful piece of furniture that takes up a small amount of space. Strong & sturdy. Replaced chain supporting drop-down writing surface. Minor dings, scratches, mars, and bumps commensurate with age 38.25" wide x 17.25" deep x 55.75" tall. $2,900.00.
