Louis XVI Style Giltwood Trumeau Mirror

#9397PP. Circa 1875. Italy. This trumeau is an excellent accent piece, with a scenic painting above a smaller mirror. The rectangular oil-on-canvas painted panel, mounted on board behind, depicts a fisherman and other figures by a harbor. The mirror glass is original. The frame is old gold leaf and gilt on soft wood. The piece has a lovely patina. Good condition - Minor old and new repairs to the frame. The painting has been cleaned recently. There is deterioration in the mirror. 48.25" tall x 24.25" wide x 1.5" deep. $1,600.00.
