"Cows Watering" by Willem Maris

Willem Maris (born February 18 1844 in The Hague; died October 10, 1910 in The Hague) was a Dutch landscape painter of the Hague School. Today his works can be found in museums such as the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam; National Gallery, London; Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; and Philadelphia Museum. Dimensions (16" tall x 19" wide x 2.75" deep) are of the gold leaf and gilt frame which appears to be original. Sight dimensions are 7.25" x 10.25". Excellent condition - wear consistent with age - minor cracks and shading on frame - minor old repairs. $3,400.00.
