#8920PP. Circa 1815. Holland. Oil on Canvas Portrait of a Dutch Gentleman in an Ebonized Frame. Written in pencil on the back is: "Abraham Gerard Kromeens - Born 1774 - Died 1846 age 72 - Married Susanne Magdalen Crosart". There is a label in Dutch on the bottom of the back with this and more information. Frame appears to be an old replacement. Condition: excellent - minor restoration to painting and frame - painting was re-stretched on new stretchers and waxed on the back in the last seventy years. 24.25" tall x 20" wide. $975.00.
